The Mission of the Winnebago Conflict Resolution Center, Inc. is to help people resolve their disputes effectively, expeditiously, and with compassion and respect.
Opened in 1991, the Winnebago Conflict Resolution Center is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization providing mediation services throughout Wisconsin, free mediation services to residents of Winnebago County, and training in mediation and conflict resolution statewide. In the 25+ years the WCRC has been offering mediation services, we have performed more than 10,000 mediations and trained over 1,000 mediators.
Who are the mediators?
"What a sense of relief knowing this is finally over. Thank you so much to the wonderful mediators at the Winnebago Conflict Resolution Center."
We have a roster of nearly 50 volunteer mediators who have all completed a 40-hour training in mediation and a minimum of 8 hours of observation of experienced mediators before providing any service to the community. At that time the mediators must co-mediate (mediate with an experienced mediator) for an additional minimum of 8 hours. Many of our mediators have more than 10 years of experience mediating cases and some have more than 20!
